The ACEEED Hospitality Academy seeks to work together with relevant stakeholders and partners to launch the Hospitality Challenge to slowly bring about change and recovery in this sector post COVID-19. The purpose of this challenge is to find the most innovative solutions in the hospitality industry and to capture the attention of a large number of start-ups, entrepreneurs and people passionate about hospitality and to facilitate the selection of those that are most relevant to the challenge we are addressing. Leaders in the sector are encouraged to collaborate in order to:
- Develop Skills in the Hospitality sector.
- Mentor and Coach SMME’S
- Recover and create new jobs
The Challenge and competition will be separated into four hospitality categories and will take place in Local, Regional, Provincial and National Levels whereby candidates will showcase their skills, compete to receive formal training and certification.
ACEEED calls upon all youth, women, SMME’S, and persons from disadvantaged backgrounds to participate in this opportunity to restart tourism in a more balanced, innovative and sustainable way, with Hospitality as one of its driving force
